This started out in the design stage as a field of barley dotted with poppies, but the ears of barley led the whole thing into a sort of Art Deco riot

Each panel measuring 36 cms x 36 cms
Full run of entire piece (5 panels) 6ft
Commissioned for a bedroom, to hang at the back of a king size bed. Very specific colour requirements and decorative elements to reflect the surrounding landscape and planting in a rockery in the garden

Footstool Cover Hand dyed with salt, quilted satin with free hand emboidery in gold thread. This was commissioned by an interior designer I met while walking the dog. She had an antique Chinese looking footstool base and wanted a cover for it. So, after I made a couple of samples to show her what kind of possibilities there were, we discussed her requirements and my capabilities and we came up with what you see in the picture.
